Mieke Gevers

Has been in the IT industry for 22 years and is managing director at Aqis (Agile Quality in Information Systems). She is responsible for the Business Unit : ICT

She has a Bachelors of Computer Science and started her career as a software developer, later moving on to various positions as analyst, project manager and, ultimately, QA Manager for several different companies in the Benelux region and Germany. Until November, 2006 she has been with Segue Software, Borland for more than eight years rising from Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Manager, EMEA/APAC, Alliance Architect EMEA/APAC to Solution Architect, EMEE at Borland.

Having developed special interest in the techniques and processes relating to test environment management and the impact of environmental factors on automated testing, she is a regular speaker throughout Europe, the United States, Asia and Australia. She was also EuroSTAR’s country coordinator for Belgium for many years, a member of the Eurostar 2007 & 2009 Program Committee and 2010 EuroSTAR's country ambasador. In 2006, she co-founded “the Belgian Testers Organisation” and recently became a board member of KVIV and BNTQB.
 

She has also been working with different automatic testing tools, specialising on Performance testing and monitoring.
 

Under her supervision several projects have been realised with success.

We have received the Qfor quality label, through an audit of our internal processes. The Qfor label is obtained for both the training and the  consultancy activities of the ICT business unit. This gives the customers the guarantee that we not only strive  for direct quality to our customers, but that we are also very alert concerning the quality of our own processes. In this way, AQIS and AQIS employees  give the best possible direct ànd indirect quality to their customers.

Future Plans

AQIS will continue to be vigilent to the quality we deliver to our customers and enhance the control of it to a next level.
